Its New Year already
Can you believe its 2007 already, our Christmas went past in
a blur of Christmas concerts and presentations and that's just the
kids stuff, we then have Christmas parties and new baby calves.
This picture is of our first imported embryo calf so cute, the rest
of them are just as quite and impressive.

We hope you all have a blessed New Year and a safe
one too.

Only a few weeks to go
Our very pregnant recipients, of some very special embryo's
are due in a few weeks. We are eagerly counting down the days to
until they should be hitting the ground. These embryo's were imported
from Canada with bloodlines including Wulfs Klint and Highland Milestone
both are proving to be extremely popular in Canada. Both bloodlines
are providing champion's, and leading genetics.

The Boys
We recently visited some of our older weaned bulls that have
been having a farmstay at Cassilis. The lads are growing out really
well, they are destined for the western market, they will be pre
climatised and ready to work straight away. While we are breeding
coastal cattle for the coast, we are also aware that our bloodlines
have a huge potential for inland breeders as well. So as not to
be area seclusive we have an arangement with a cattle stud inland,
who are preparing a selection of our young bulls for our current
and future clients who come from the western side of the range.
If your interested in seeing any of our coastal or inland bulls
please give us a call, we would be more then happy to make arangments
for you.

Thankyou
A HUGE thankyou to the Northern Limousin Breeders
Group for a great sale at scone this year. Its great to see such
a feeling of comrade amongst the breeders, everyone worked so well
together and it showed with such a smooth well run sale.
Also a THANKYOU and Congratulations to Mr. G Burr of Tamworth with
the purchase of our bull Limeric Tailor Zeus. He is a great
bull, his mother is the largest dam in our herd and being the son
of the great Timor Choice Poll Tailor who happens to be a
trait leader in calving ease, we have never had to help any of tailors
calves during birth.

Bulls for sale going once ..twice..sold
After returning from the Scone Limousin Sale earlier in the month,
we were going to put the remaining 2 year old bulls for sale on
the web site. WE received a phone call less then a week later and
a buyer came to look at a couple of the bulls. They took one look
and bought the lot on the spot, this says a lot about not only our
stock but the breed in general. GO LIMOUSINS! But never fear we
have some awesome young fella's coming of age soon so don't miss
out, come and have an early preview.
